Red White And Blue Cubes (Printable Version)

Tri-colored fruit and juice cubes—blueberries, coconut, strawberries—that chill and decorate drinks for festive summer gatherings.

# What You'll Need:

→ Fruit

01 - 1/2 cup fresh or frozen blueberries
02 - 1/2 cup strawberries, hulled and chopped
03 - 1/2 cup fresh coconut meat or unsweetened shredded coconut

→ Liquids

04 - 1 cup coconut water
05 - 1 cup natural blueberry juice
06 - 1 cup natural strawberry juice or cranberry juice

# How To Make It:

01 - Rinse all fresh fruit thoroughly. Hull and chop strawberries as needed. If using fresh coconut, dice into small pieces.
02 - Place blueberries into the bottom third of each ice cube tray compartment. Pour a small amount of blueberry juice over the berries just to cover. Freeze for 1 hour or until solid.
03 - Layer chopped coconut meat or a sprinkle of shredded coconut on top of the frozen blueberry layer. Fill the next third with coconut water. Freeze again for 1 hour until firm.
04 - Add chopped strawberries to each compartment and fill to the top with strawberry or cranberry juice. Freeze until completely solid, about 2 more hours.
05 - Once completely frozen, release the ice cubes and add to chilled beverages for a celebratory presentation.
